Fireplace Warehouse began its life as Metropolis Heating and Cooling and Fireplace Alternatives in 1980. Wes F. began selling fireplaces and offering service and installation. It all began out of a 1200 square foot place in the Applewood area of Golden, Colorado.
The current business model allows us to offer our customers a wide range of hearth and home products and professional services. From helping customers choose the right product for their home, through the installation process, to follow-up service and maintenance of their investment, Fireplace Warehouse continues to be a leader in the hearth products industry.
Recently (early 2010), the business has expanded to include a flooring and remodeling division that offers our customers an easy one-stop-shop solution for professional home improvement projects.
